This is Bristol

Join our writers at the Memorial Stadium from 2.45pm on Saturday as Bristol Rovers seek to end a horrible, horrible run of six consecutive defeats.

They'll have been delighted to hear Carlisle United boss Gregg Abbott's comments that his side want to win every game, be it the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, League One, World Cup or Champions league.

Sadly for Abbott it is League One and not some of his other suggestions and Gas boss Paul Trollope has previous in it, namely his October Manager of the Month award.

It may seem a world away at the moment but Rovers are out to recall that winning feeling.

In any event the fans have something to celebrate together: Carlisle put Bristol City out of the Carling Cup this season.
