BRISTOL Manor Farm and Gala Wilton produced fireworks on bonfire night as the top two clubs fought out a thrilling 4-4 draw.

Farm striker Kyle Buffery took his goal tally for the season to eight with a hat-trick, while Jordan Rogers scored the other, his 11th goal of the campaign.

Kieran Hempstead, Josh Halford, Curtis Watts and Lee Simpson hit back for Gala.

Third-placed Cadbury Heath crashed to a 4-0 defeat against Yate Town.

Heath were always chasing the game after going 3-0 down to goals from Carl Lakey, Kyle Thomas and Charlie Lacey in a 15-minute first-half spell.

Yate could have added to their tally before the break but Heath settled down well in the second period and matched their opponents until shortly before the end when Lakey netted for the second time.

Leaders Gala Wilton were held to another draw – 2-2 at Shirehampton – at the weekend.

The visitors took the lead just after the half-hour mark through Jay Stephenson.

Dan Griffiths hauled Shire back into the game with a goal five minutes into the second period and netted again midway through the half, only for Gala to bounce back and equalise through Josh Holford in the dying minutes.
