Kitski seems to save his best efforts for right-handed tracks so must have leading claims in the Independent Newspaper Veterans' Handicap Chase at Ascot.

The 11-year-old ended a winless streak that went back almost two years at Huntingdon last time, staying on strongly over this three-mile trip to win by a neck.

He gets into this contest off a nice racing weight and, with Ferdy Murphy's horses coming into form, this gelding looks primed to give another good account of himself.

Tamarinbleu has been keeping esteemed company all season and has been found a most winnable opportunity at Fontwell.

David Pipe's nine-year-old has competed at Grade One level on his last six starts and was no disgrace in finishing third behind Voy Por Ustedes and Gwanako in the Betfair Ascot Chase last time.

He returns to the smaller obstacles for the dandennis@equestrianfencing.com Handicap Hurdle and holds a chance off a mark some 10lb lower than his chase rating.

Fin Vin De Leu has shown up well on his last few starts and even more can be expected of him as he steps up in trip at Southwell.

The three-year-old was placed in two of his four starts as a juvenile and was well fancied to make a winning start to the new year at Kempton last month.

Sent off at odds-on, the son of Doctor Fong was woefully outpaced in the final two furlongs, but still stuck on well enough to finish third.

He tackles a mile and a half for the first in the Play Golf At Southwell Golf Club Maiden Stakes.

And with improvement likely from his seasonal reappearance, it would be surprising if he does not get involved in the finish.

Mujma fairly bolted up at Lingfield a week ago and a 6lb penalty is unlikely to stop him going in again in the Membership At Southwell Golf Club Handicap.

Having failed to strike over all sorts of trips, including over a mile and a half, on his previous 16 starts, he was dropped all the way down to five furlongs for his latest outing and stormed to a three-length success.

Considering he won that race off a rating of just 46, it could be he is now a few pounds ahead of the handicapper now connections have finally found a suitable distance.

Servoca ran some mighty races in defeat as a juvenile and should get his head in front for the first time in Wolverhampton's Ringside Conference Suite – 700 Theatre Style Maiden Stakes.
