Kitchen blaze leaves Little Stoke man needing oxygen

A man needed oxygen treatment for smoke inhalation after a fire in the kitchen of his home in Little Stoke, Bristol.

Firefighters wearing breathing sets extinguished the flames at the property in Tetbury Close at 7.50pm yesterday.

Two crews from Patchway used one hose reel and a thermal imaging camera to put it out and administered oxygen therapy to the householder who is in his 40s.

The cause of the fire is not known.
