“My condolences to this man's family and friends. It's hardly surprising someone was killed given the speed that some of the chavs drive down Tenniscourt Road... they seem to think it's a speedway as opposed to a residential street!”

“Kay10 - Yes, it is more important that a young man lost his life than focusing on an error in a news report. However, if myself or someone else had not pointed out the error, every few seconds the BREAKING NEWS ticker at the top of the main news page would still be informing readers that it would have been his 24th birthday today. The very least that this site should do is get the poor bloke's birthday right.”

“winford - Yes. I think it's perfectly valid to point out errors in reported news. Especially when it concerns information about people. Now that the error has been corrected I would be more than happy for my comment to be removed. By the way, you forgot to put a question mark at the end of your question.”

“Yes, but the wrong information is still appearing in the Breaking News line at the top of this page.”
