Rising Kheleyf looks a horse on the up and he can continue his progress with victory in the Boddingtons Redcar Straight-Mile Championship at the Cleveland venue.

The three-year-old made a winning reappearance after a winter off at Catterick last week, showing a good attitude to knuckle down in the final couple of furlongs and hold Foreign Investment by a length and a quarter, suggesting a further step up in trip from seven furlongs would not be an issue.

He races off a 6lb higher mark here, but Rising Kheleyf strikes as a typical Swinbank improver and could be one to rack up a sequence.

Mutheeb boasts some big-race entries later in the season so it will be interesting to see how he fares in Yarmouth's Premier Racing Services Grand Opening In Lowestoft Conditions Stakes. Chasca failed to follow up on her impressive debut success at Lingfield last time but she can make amends as she enjoys a first turf start at Folkestone.

Lepido can defy a rise in the ratings to claim Hereford's Rose & Lion In Bromyard Novices' Handicap Hurdle.
