Hanham Minor League Cups: Keaton Lacey fired a wonder goal as AEK Boco Under-11s reached the Division A/B Cup final with a thrilling 2-1 victory over Warmley Rangers A.

Boco had most of the possession early on and it came as a shock when Warmley took the lead through George Kellow from an excellent Jay Vile free-kick.

Both teams played well but it looked as though Warmley were destined to go into half-time ahead before a Lacey's thunderous 40-yard strike hauled them level.

Warmley, inspired by the tricky Theo Miller, looked threatening but the Boco defence held firm. Tom Norley particularly caught the eye in his first game of the season, while only an oustanding sliding tackle by Lacey denied Miller a goal.

The winner came when quick feet by Bradley Wheadon sent Josh Kellet Butt away and he cut the ball back unselfishly for Jack Robson to score.

Boco's opponets in the final will be Bitton, who beat Yate United 6-0 thanks largely to the performances of keeper Charlie Cains, Danny Sheldon, Matt Brown, Callum Ball and Solomon Butler.

A looping shot from Connor Griffiths got Bitton off the mark and Jordan Cribb made it 2-0 after rounding the keeper just before half-time.

A neatly floated free-kick from Jak Griffiths found the head of Jack Ball to make it 3-0 and, with Christian Box, Seli Prenci, Luke Saward and Sam Boulton working tirelessly, further goals followed from Harry Sutton (2) and Cribb.

The Division C/D Cup final will be between Broadwalk and Whit- church B.

Broadwalk squeezed through with a 2-1 win over Thornbury Falcons. Jack Mundy scored twice to send them into the break 2-0 up but Thornbury dominated the second half and were rewarded for some slick football by Harry Shipp's consolation goal.

With Matt Grey solid in goal, Sam Hussey and Jake Barton providing good cover and Elliott Bradburn feeding the front men well, Thornbury were always in the game but could not an equaliser.

Whitchurch proved too strong for Bromley Heath, winning 5-1 with goals from Kyle Slocombe (2), Ryan Jacobs, Jordan Sargent and Josh King. Jamie Dickenson slotted in Heath's consolation.

Despite the scoreline, Whitchurch keeper Sam Franklin had to make a number of saves. His opposite number, Jack Trapnell, also excelled, while Thomas Burden and man-of-the -match Jacob Morgan defended superbly.

Nicholas Wanderers kept their fantastic run going with a convincing 8-0 aggregate victory over Bristol Rovers SC to reach the Under-10 Cup final.

Inspired by defenders Jared Ford, Jordan Gilbert, Owen Woodsworth, and the midfield of Ethan Platts, Joe Hanhauser and James Morton, Wanderers got off to a flying start with Hanhauser and Sam Delve scoring inside the first 10 minutes before Platts completed 3-0 win.

They finished the job in style in the second match with Kwyn Gilbert hitting a superb hat-trick and Jordan Connelley grabbing the other two goals in a 5-0 success.

Callum Fudgell and Xavier Nicastro both played major parts in the victory.

A solitay Jack Baker strike saw Warmley Rangers into the Under-9 Cup final with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over St Nicholas.

Baker struck the decisive blow in game one after Nathan Wilkes' long-range shot had been fumbled by the Saints keeper. Wilkes came close again in the second half as another drive from distance was deflected against the crossbar.

Keeper Jack Dando was in good form for a Saints side who turned in their best performance of the season, aided by excellent defending from Kyle Bernhardt. At the other end, Olly Bailey and Tom Bidder did their best to force an equaliser but Rangers stood firm.

Game two was also a tight encounter and Rangers were grateful to men-of-the-match Jamie Box and keeper Chris Archer for turning in resilient performances and ensuring the game finished goalless.

Connor Blyth Robbins almost broke the deadlock with a shot against a post.

Keeper Jack Banks performed well behind Manny Diss and Matthew Bryant for Saints, while star man Daniel Dempsey and Luke Henderson did well in midfield.

Nicholas Wanderers will face Warmley in the final after a 4-0 aggregate victory over Ashton Boys.

Callum Laughlin's goal following good work by the pacy Jacob Backwell, gave them a 1-0 first-game win.

Kurt Cameron and Sean Attiwell produced solid displays for the victors, while Bradley Ind was prominent on his return to the side.

Game two finished 3-0 thanks to goals from Gianni Porcaro, Callum Parker, with a cracking drive from the edge of the box, and Dan Whitley.

Sam Haggett and Kyle Roberts linked well in the second fixture, with Dan Tancock his usual reliable self in defence and Jacob Wardle on form in goal.
