Hanham Minor League Cup: Kyle Salcombe was a hat-trick hero for Whitchurch Sports as they overcame Bristol Central 5-4 in the Hanham Minor League's Under-11 Divisions C & D Cup.

A cracking match finished 4-4 after normal time with Jordan Sargent and Gary West notching their first goals of the season for Whitchurch to go with Salcombe's brace.

Syian Morris' 25-yard free-kick was the pick of the Central goals before Salcombe completed his hat-trick in extra-time to send Sports through.

Callum Moon's scorcher wrapped up a 3-0 win for Nicholas Wanderers over Ashton Boys in their second round tie.

The foundations for the victory were built on the strong back four of Josh Cummins, Joe Woodruff, Del Cunningham and Leon Smith. They went in front on 15 minutes when a cross from Andrew Thomas found William Brant with room to chip the keeper. With Marcus Knapp and Ben Scully supplying the passes, Wanderers remained on top and Brant supplied another cool finish to make it 2-0 before Moon got the third. Nick Gallagher, Ollie Peters and Henry Burns all caught the eye for Wanders.

Oldland made hard work of beating a well-organised Saltford Stars side 4-3 in the same competition.

Tyrell Simpson, James Denyer and Charlie Millard all missed chances before Robert Bool burst through to smash home a left-foot shot right on half-time

Oldland were slow to get started after the break and a cross into the box was sliced past his own keeper by Charlie Millard to hand Stars an equaliser.

Oldland finally clicked into gear and the tricky Denyer scored twice via assists from Aaron Holloway and star man Will Tanner.

Remarkably, Oldland were caught out twice late on due to poor defending as Saltford managed to get back on level terms. But a 60th-minute winner from Aaron Holloway secured their place in the quarter-finals.

Thornbury Falcons are also through after passing their sternest test of the campaign with a 3-2 victory over Hanham Athletic Youth, who play in the division above them.

Asher Budd got them off to a flier by nodding home Phil Twinn's floating corner, but the visitors quickly equalised and only a last-ditch tackle by Sam Hussey denied them a second goal.

Man-of-the-match Matt Grey was excellent in goal for Falcons after the interval and he watched on in delight as Budd restored their lead, converting a sweet cross from Arthur Severinsen, before the home side drew level once more.

In a tense final few minutes, Ewan Sinclair, Elliot Bradburn, Jake Barton, Hussey and Twinn all fought hard to hold the visitors at bay before Jordan Saxton and Budd linked up to provide Dan Worsley with Thornbury's winner.

Bristol Rovers JSC B fought back from a 1-0 deficit against Warmley B to lead 2-1, only to lose 3-2 in a terrific encounter.

Josh Maggs put Warmley in front before Brandon Tyler levelled for Rovers following good work by Mitchell Jeffries, Keeton West and Charlie Mulcahy.

Previously-unbeaten Rovers took the lead shortly after the restart with a powerful Kyron Wilson drive, only for Rangers to equalise through Keegan Knight.

Despite a series of magnificent saves, one from a penalty, by Rovers keeper Harry Webb, the killer blow came five minutes from time when Aneirin Ellis netted Warmley's winner.

Matthew Hendrickson starred for Broadwalk as they produced a splendid display to overcome Downend Saints 9-0.

Connor Griffin and Jack Mundy both fired terrific hat-tricks, while Michael-Lee Nash, Calum Rogers and Kevin Pearce were also on the scoresheet.

Bromley Heath bounced back from a 2-1 half-time deficit to beat Frampton Rangers 6-2 in the Under-11 Divisions A & B Cup.

Ed Lankester and Mitch Rayner put Frampton in charge with deflected efforts, while Heath's first-half scorer was man-of-the-match Daniel Smith, who curled in a shot from a tight angle.

Heath took control after the break and Harry Saunders and James Sanderson both scored with lobbed finishes, while Harry Prendergast, Mitch Brunning and Daniel Smith were also on target.

A powerful second-half performance saw Yate United go through with a 5-0 home win over Whitchurch A.

The visitors put up a spirited first- half showing and restricted Yate to a single goal lead when good build-up play led to Matty Milton applying the finish.

The second half saw Yate pile on the pressure and they killed off their opponents. Connor Gould set them on their way with a rasping effort, the battling Owen Robertson added a third, and Tom Wateman and Luke Smart Smart both netted with fine efforts.

Goals by Connor Brealey and star man Tom Bakewell could not prevent Bradley Stoke Youth from going out 4-2 against AEK Boco.

Jack Green (2), Georgina Lacey and Tyler Atkins were the Boco scorers.

Warmley Rangers A brushed aside Bristol Rovers JSC A 6-1 at Southey Road thanks to a hat-trick from Callum Carter, a George Kellow double and Jay Vile's strike. Rovers' goal came from Declan Carvell.
