Justin Lee Collins "kept list of girlfriend's sexual experiences"

Bristol-born comedian Justin Lee Collins kept a graphic list of his girlfriend's sexual experiences, a court heard today.

Collins, 38, is on trial at St Albans Crown Court after denying causing fear of violence in Anna Larke, of Pirton in Hertfordshire.

It is alleged he verbally abused and physically assaulted her last year.

It is alleged that Collins made his girlfriend tell him about every sexual experience she had had, which he kept details of in a notebook.

The court also heard that he made Ms Larke throw away her DVD collection because she found some of the male actors attractive.

The court heard Mr Collins had a "prurient" interest in her previous relationships, which he used against her in arguments.

Collins is currently appearing in the West End musical Rock of Ages.

The jury heard that he forced her to close her Facebook, Twitter and email accounts once he had read messages.

The performer assaulted and harassed her during their nine-month relationship last year, said prosecutor Peter Shaw.

The court heard Collins asked her who she was texting or phoning and insisted she did not sleep with her back against him.

The couple met while Collins was still married. Ms Larke helped him move from Bristol to Kew, south west London, in January 2011, and she moved in with him.

A recording was played to the court of Ms Larke on her phone, in which Mr Collins called her a slag and accused her of having unprotected sex with many men.

Mr Shaw said Ms Larke told police she had made the recording in case she ever needed reminding of why the relationship ended.
