Jury out in trial of former soldier accused of murder
JURORS in the case of a former soldier on trial for murder were due to start considering their verdict today.
Barach Bandavad, 38, an Abbey Wood MoD worker of Highbury Road, Horfield, denies murdering 58-year-old Judith Ege on June 30 last year.
A jury at Bristol Crown Court has heard Mrs Ege and her husband visited Bandavad after he split with Mr Ege's daughter Samantha.
It is claimed Bandavad pulled out a knife and attacked Mrs Ege in the back of a car.
