Judd's one win away after his Jin tonic
Judd Trump is just one win away from qualifying for this month's BBC-televised Maplin UK Championship in Telford.
The Keynsham teenager held his nerve to clinch a 9-8 victory over Chinese cueman Jin Long in the penultimate round of qualifying on Saturday evening.

And with victory he now locks horns with Irishman Michael Judge today with a place up for grabs in the next major ranking tournament, which runs from December 13-21 at the Telford International Centre.
Trump was cruising at 5-2 and 7-4 ahead, but Long won four frames on the spin to edge 8-7 ahead.
But the ever-improving Trump, a semi-finalist at this season's Royal London Watches Grand Prix in Glasgow, dug deep to win the remaining two frames.
"It was a tough match, he (Jin) made me work really hard," reflected Trump, up to No 29 in the provisional world rankings.
"I felt really comfortable at 7-4, but fair play to him, he played well to go 8-7 ahead. I just had to stick in there and hope I got some chances. Thankfully I did.
"Even at 8-7 when the momentum was with him, I still felt I could win the match. I had to be patient and I took my chances."
Long pocketed breaks of 50, 58, 60, 42, 66 and 45 to push Trump the distance, but the 19-year-old left-hander had breaks of 111, 45, 104, 73 and 94.
Looking ahead to his final qualifying-round showdown with Judge, Trump reflected: "It's going to be another tough match, but you don't expect any easy matches.
"I've qualified for every tournament so far this season, it would be great if I could make it five tournaments in a row.
"The UK is a massive tournament. I feel as though I'm getting better and better."
