Tomorrow at 1.15pm in the Lord Mayor's Chapel the Lorien Ensemble with Charlotte Newstead (soprano) presents music by Handel, Mozart, and Conti. Admission is free.

The same evening at Westonbirt Arboretum Vanessa Mae with the National Symphony Orchestra is joined by All Angels for an outdoor classical concert. Tickets from 01842 814612 are £29.50. Start time 7.30pm.

Also tomorrow, Bristol Concert Chamber Orchestra is giving a popular programme of music by Handel and Mozart at St Mary's Church, Olveston. Starting at 7.30pm, tickets at £7.50 are available from 01454 617491 or 01454 616593.

On Sunday, at St George's at 4pm Castle School, Thornbury, presents a miscellany of music showing off the various skills of their groups. Tickets at £10/£5 concessions from 0845 4024 001.

Wednesday sees the rebirth of the orchestra previously known as Radio Bristol Returners under its new name Bristol Millennium Orchestra. They will play a programme of mixed classics at a new venue – Church Hill Hall Gardens in Hollybush Lane, Stoke Bishop. Starting at 7pm tickets cost £9 with children free, from 331 4905 or on the door.
