BITTON A reached the second round of the GFA Under-14 Cup with a gritty performance and late winner against Forest Rangers.

Forest Rangers opened the scoring early on but Taylor Biggs quickly levelled for Bitton and Luca Pocaro fired them in front midway through the first half.

Rangers equalised early in the second period before snatching the lead from the penalty spot as a topsy-turvy encounter continued in earnest.

But Bitton continued to work hard and Pocaro equalised in the dying seconds with his second goal of the game to force extra-time.

They continued to press the Rangers defence and were rewarded for their endeavours as a late Joe Osbourne strike settled the outcome.
