Jobs available at Bristol airport
Fifty jobs at Bristol International Airport are up for grabs at a recruitment fair tomorrow .
Jobcentre Plus is working with SSP Air UK Ltd, the company which manages the outlets, to fill 50 vacancies in Bar 09, Burger King, Cafe Ritazza, Dexters, Soho Coffee Company, Caviar House and Starbucks.
Jobs on offer include customer service assistants, line cooks, hosts/hostesses and supervisors.
The recruitment fair is being held at Working Links, Colston Avenue in the city centre between 10am and 4pm. There are temporary and permanent jobs available and SSP Air UK Ltd say people will have the chance to develop into supervisory and management roles.
Interested applicants are asked to bring their CV, identification, bank details, and details of work or education history for the past five years. Presentations to prospective candidates and interviews will be taking place throughout the day.
Sarah Hedley from Jobcentre Plus said:
"This event shows that, despite the current economic difficulties, there are still vacancies available in Bristol and employers are still recruiting. Applicants that attend will be able to find out more about the jobs, apply and be interviewed, all on one day."
Sam Shutt, from SSP Air UK Ltd, said: "Bristol International Airport is a fantastic place to work. It's exciting and very challenging. SSP Air UK Ltd is a company with real pedigree and we have a great portfolio of brands. We are a global business and we want individuals to join our team who want to be food travel experts. It's a great time to join us, learn and develop new skills."
