Jammers set to shine at annual Bristol park event
The seventh annual St George Jam takes place tomorrow in St George Park.
Based around the skate park, it will feature junior and adult skate, BMX competitions and live music from Bristol bands.

As well as this there will be dance displays, stalls, a pedal-powered open mic stage, healing area, workshops, art sculptures and more.
The organisers of the event say that it is a free festival specifically for what they see as the oft-neglected community of the St George area, and is aimed primarily at young people but also open to all ages.
In previous years, while the children take part and watch the displays in the skate park, their parents have brought picnics to eat in the park.
Luke Cox, 15, from Church Road, Redfield, has been attending the St George Jam since its inception in 2003 and said that he cannot wait until this weekend's event.
The Year 11 pupil at City Academy had a day off from school yesterday because of an inset day, so came to the skate park in St George Park to practice tricks on his BMX.
He said: "I have come to the Jam every year. It's always really good fun. Everybody in the area comes together, relaxing and chilling out."
Organisers Ben Greenland and Craig Reynolds said they are trying to achieve the perfect community festival, and so it is important for it to be free of charge to local residents.
Ben, 35, from Fishponds, said: "For me, it's great to see a community event that's so much fun. We like to do it to showcase the skills of the people who use the skate park, get new stuff for it, get it painted up and bring the community together at the same time.
"The park is a great space, a big space, but there can still be even more in it."
Craig, 32, who used to live in Whitehall Road but now lives in St Paul's, added: "I would really like to see all the local people come down here on Sunday because the whole aim of this event is for them.
"It's for the kids and for the families. It's going to be great."
