Jamie stars in Bristol Bulldogs win
Bristol Bulldogs Under-16s were unlucky not to net points from their away match against high-flying Haringay.
Jamie Trigg, aged 12, scored four times to give the Bristol youngsters hope, but Haringay ran out 8-5 winners.
The Under-14s, playing their first home game in new kit, beat Lee Valley 7-6.
They came from behind twice and had two players in the penalty box, but doubles from Adrian Namasivayam and Rhys Young led them to a thrilling victory.
The only girl in the Bulldogs' Under-14 team scored her first goal after three minutes against Haringay in a 2-2 draw the week before. The second was scored by Joel Bendon – also his first for the Bulldogs.
Senior team, Bristol Pitbulls return from a 16-year absence to face Isle of Wight team Vectis Tigers on December 13 at Bristol Ice Rink (6pm).
