Avon Athletic enjoyed another smashing awayday as they beat a strong Hardwicke Rangers side 5-0 in the GFA Under-12 Cup.

Athletic began well and goals by James Widdicks and Sergio Smith put them 2-0 up at the break.

Hardwicke came out fighting in the second half but Avon's defence held firm playing into the wind. A great run from man-of-the-match Widdicks led to his second goal before further strikes from Daniel Rugman and Jiam Cohen saw Avon safely into the quarter-finals.
