Jameela 'can't wait to get back for chips on pier'
T4 on the Beach presenter Jameela Jamil says she can't wait to return to Weston-super-Mare for Europe's biggest pop party – and eat chips on the resort's pier.
Jameela, who will be arriving in the resort on July 1 for T4 on the Beach with fellow presenters Nick Grimshaw, Georgie Okell, Matt Edmondson and Will Best, says the chips cooked in Weston are the 'best in the world.'
Jameela, who is returning to the beach for the third year, said: "I am looking forward to getting them from the chippy on the seafront where we always get them from and eating them either on the beach or the pier."
This year, T4 on the Beach celebrates its 10th birthday and promises to be the biggest and best ever.

A number of acts have already been announced including X-Factor winners Little Mix, the only group ever to win the TV talent contest.
Also joining the line up for T4 is hot rapper Labrinth whose hit single Earthquake reached number two in the charts in October, selling 115,000 copies in its first week of release.
Brighton duo Rizzle Kicks will also be appearing, performing their catchy hits Mama Do the Hump and When I was a Youngster.
Former N-Dubz front man Dappy has also confirmed he will be digging out his flip flops and bucket and spade to perform on the sands.
Four-piece group Cover Drive, fresh from supporting Rihanna on tour, have also booked their slot alongside east London-born rapper and T4 favourite, Professor Green.
And there will also be special appearances from cast members from Channel 4's best-loved programmes, including Made In Chelsea.
Jameela said she was looking forward to seeing new talent Connor Maynard take to the stage.
She said: "I am looking forward to seeing all the acts and this year, as it is our 10th birthday, we are going to have the best line up ever.
"I am really looking forward to seeing Connor Maynard, he is going to bring the house down.
"It's great that he will be on the stage of T4 at the beginning of his career as he is someone who is really going to go far."
Jameela said it was the great crowd at Weston that brought the show back to the resort each year.
She added: "Weston is such a great venue.
"It's big enough to hold the event but small enough to have that friendly atmosphere.
"The people in Weston are so friendly and the crowd always goes mad, making so much noise and we get to meet some fabulous people."
One of the highlights of last year's show for Jameela was getting Jason Derulo to take off his shirt in front of a 50,000-strong crowd.
"I said that if everyone screamed loud enough Jason would strip," she laughed.
"Everyone screamed and he took his top off and was stood in his trousers." She added: That was a career and T4 highlight and that stomach truly warranted a massive scream."
Another perk for Jameela is the gifting tents set up backstage where celebrities are given the latest gadgets in ram-packed goodie bags.
She added: "Last year I got a juicer, MP3, make up, spray tan, jewellery and even a cake.
"The tents are a real perk and full of the latest gadgets and gizmos.
"We always blag our way in after everyone else has been in to see what is left.
"Backstage it is always a brilliant atmosphere and a real all-day party.
"We are a real T4 family and some of the acts have been performing at the event since the start of their careers.
Jameela said although she hoped the sun would shine on July 1, T4 was always a fabulous day, whatever the weather.
She said: "It gets to the point when no one cares about the weather, it's no longer a factor really.
"It's about having fun and loving the music."
Tickets for the event are selling out fast but some are still available and pop lovers are being urged to book theirs before they sell out.
Jameela added: "To say I'm excited about T4 On The Beach's tenth birthday would be a massive understatement, I literally can't wait for the summer.
"The tickets are selling fast and we would urge people to get theirs now – we want to see as many people in Weston as possible."
Tickets are available from Weston Tourist Information Centre.
