Jailed man must repay £20,000
A RADSTOCK man who grew cannabis has been ordered to hand over almost £20,000 under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
Michael Gorman, of Church Street, was arrested last December. The 54-year-old was jailed for three and a half years in May for producing cannabis, possessing a shotgun without a licence and possessing a prohibited weapon. Gorman was brought back to Taunton Crown Court, where he was shown to have benefited by £38,400 from his crimes and ordered to hand over £19,200 within six months.
