Jailed for failing to pay back £34,000
A KEYNSHAM woman has been sent to prison for failing to pay back more than £34,000 she stole from her employer.
Maria Seward, of Charlton Road, was working as an office manager for Clifton- based graphic design company Hello Charlie when she started siphoning off money from the company into her own bank account.

The Post reported in February that the 35-year-old had been given six months to pay the money back or serve an 18-month jail sentence.
But an enforcement hearing at North Somerset Magistrates' Court heard she had failed to make any repayment, so she was ordered to serve the sentence. She is still liable for the debt.
