The Children's Heart Appeal was launched earlier this month to enable the hospital to build a state-of-the-art "hybrid" theatre, which will enable a combination of medical procedures – such as X-rays and open heart surgery – to be carried out in the same space.
Organisers hope the concert on November 8 will raise about £20,000 towards the appeal.
Sarah Vipond from the Grand Appeal said: "We are delighted to be working with The Mall on such an exciting festive event, and we are so thrilled to benefit from what will be a fantastic performance by JLS to support Bristol Children's Hospital."
The boy band found fame after appearing on television talent show X Factor.
The Mall will be giving away 10,000 free tickets to the event, in exchange for a minimum suggested donation of £2 per ticket to the appeal. They will be available from October 13.
