Ipswich Town in the spotlight
Ipswich Town drew their 16th game of the season at Scunthorpe on Tuesday night – more than any other team in the Football League.
But while they have been disappointed to take only a point several times this term, this time they were indebted to David Healy's equaliser for a share of the spoils.
The Glanford Park trip was a fourth away game in a row and Roy Keane's men were satisfied with a seven-point haul.
The Tractor Boys are recovering from their worst ever start to a campaign and have lost just three times since they were beaten by Newcastle in September while at Portman Road they are unbeaten in ten matches.
Keane's team selection remains something of a mystery to local observers.
A local newspaper runs a competition inviting readers to email their predictions and no-one has got the eleven right yet.
Skipper Jon Walters is Ipswich's joint top scorer and is likely to partner on-loan Sunderland striker Darryl Murphy up front, assuming Healy is not promoted to the starting line-up.
Three more of Keane's ex-Black Cats are in midfield. They are on-loan left winger Jack Colback, central midfielder Grant Leadbitter and Trinidad and Tobago international right winger Carlos Edwards.
Making up the middle four is likely to be ex-Plymouth man David Norris.
The defence features Gareth McAuley and Damien Delaney at centre-back with David Wright at right-back.
At left-back there could be a fourth appearance for 19-year-old ex-Liverpool youngster Shane O'Connor, although former City academy product Liam Rosenior is fit again after illness.
In goal will be much-travelled Irish keeper Brian Murphy. After previous spells with Manchester City, Oldham, Swansea and Peterborough, Murphy returned to his homeland in 2006. But Keane signed him from Bohemians in the transfer window and he has played the last two games after injury held up his debut.
