Bristol Under-18 Combination: Imperial Saints won the Bristol Under-18 Combination League Cup with an exciting 3-2 victory in the final against Oldland Athletic.

In a match which kept the spectators enthralled for the full 90 minutes, it was Oldland who struck first against the run of play following a free-kick which the Imperial keeper misjudged.

Imperial struck back with two goals before half-time, then increased their lead midway through the second half before Oldland hit back with a well-taken goal to set up a tense final five minutes.

In the dying seconds, Oldland had a great opportunity to take the game into extra-time but the Imperial keeper made an excellent save.

Imps' goalscorers were Kirk Morgan, Sam Downes and Jack Luton.

Roman Glass St George also had plenty to celebrate after winning the League Plate trophy with a 6-1 final success against Made For Ever Youth.

Selwyn Msakwa and Josh Winterson were the stars of the show, scoring a hat-trick apiece.

But Glass were made to fight for long stretches of the contest as Made For Ever pulled a goal back to trail just 2-1 early in the second half before their opponents eventually pulled away.

Imperial, who have already sewn up the Bristol A Division title, increased their lead at the top by cruising to a 6-1 midweek victory over St Vallier .

Kartel Blair and Kirk Morgan each scored twice, with Daniel Caswell and Mitchell Purnell also on target. Joe Durcan netted for Saints, while Abdul Salam and Mike James turned in good performances.

St Vallier bounced back from that defeat to record a super 7-3 win away against Frampton Rangers at the weekend. Goal ace Jermaine Hughes hit a hat-trick and was joined on the scoresheet by Dan Norley, Aaron Johnson (2) and Jason Barter.

Brett Redmore, Liam Williams and Charlie Short scored Frampton's goals.

Abdul Salam, Swayze Diamond, Scott Phelps and man-of-the-match Adam James shone for Saints.

Stoke Lane Athletic swept aside Shirehampton Reds 4-1 thanks to two goals each by David Brown and Tom Murray. Ryan Baker scored Shire's goal just before half-time to make it 1-1.

Olveston surged to a 5-0 victory over Barton & Tredworth in the Gloucestershire Division thanks to a Chris Howard hat-trick and goals by Tom Brock and Luke Jones, who finished off a fine run and cross from Jack Neale.
