Immigrants will bring problems
HAVE your readers noticed the silence that arose in the House of Commons when the question was asked "How many Romanians and Bulgarians can we expect to arrive in the UK when the border controls are lifted in 2014"?
I cannot believe that the vast majority of the British population are not aware of the problems facing this country on the influx of these people seeking work.
The strain on the NHS schools and housing and cost to us taxpayers for the benefits that will be handed out to these people, who have never contributed anything to the prosperity of the UK and never will, is simply frightening.
It's already been admitted that 50 per cent of all new affordable housing will be for immigrants. You can forget those British families who have been on the housing list for years.

There are a number of Romanians who will seek work but there are whose who will, besides taking the benefits, resort to what they do best – begging and pick-pocketing.
I do have a degree of knowledge of Romania having visited the country four times on business between 1990-92, not only to Bucharest but out into the countryside such as Targu Jiu, a small open-cast coal-mining area approximately 150 miles from the capital.
Of course, there are good Romanians as there are English but here in the UK we seem to attract a load of no -gooders.
And what does this government do about the problem? Simply ignore these issues. Anyone who votes Conservative, Labour or Lib Dem needs to have their head examined.

Where's the proof of this claim?”
