Identity of dead man found in Kingsdown a mystery
POLICE have been unable to identify the body of a man found lying in a Kindgsdown street this morning and have turned to the public for help.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, was discovered lying in shorts and sandals by neighbours on Thomas Street at 8.15am.
At first police believed the man’s injuries were as a result of an assault but a post mortem confirmed the injuries were consistent with a fall and the death is now not thought to be suspicious.
The dead man is described as a white man of average/medium build. He is thought to be in his early 40s and had dark/greying receding hair.
