Hypnotist with the award judges under his spell
A YATE hypnotist has picked up the Children's Entertainer of the Year award from the Society of Magic.
Originally a stage hypnotist, Christian Taylor, from Blackburn, took up entertaining youngsters as his own children grew up.

Mr Taylor – also known as Chris P Tee – has two daughters, aged eight and nine, whose friends have provided plenty of parties to at which he has perfected his act.
The entertainer describes his show as "unusually good entertainment for children and adults".

He said: "I'm not like any other normal old clown. You'll see no waistcoats or big shoes in my set.
"I don't patronise the kids, I just entertain them like people. What you are getting with me is more like a normal bloke who entertains kids."
Mr Taylor picked up his award at a Society of Magic competition in Kingswood last Thursday where entrants entertained 80 Scouts and Sea Cadets, aged 11 to 17.
He said: "Children's entertainers are used to parties with children a lot younger than that but I think I benefited from my experience dealing with adults." He added: "I'm extremely pleased with the award."
