Hunt for thugs after attack
A MAN was attacked while out with his family and a friend in Clifton.
He was walking along Boyce's Avenue between 9.40 and 10pm on Saturday, April 14 when a group of about six men began to make comments about his brother. The victim was punched to the floor by one of the thugs and needed hospital treatment for facial injuries.
It is believed the gang ran off to the Hop House pub where they were refused entry and were also refused entry from a number of local bars.
Police would like to speak to a white man, about 5ft 8in with a pale complexion. He was muscular, had high cheek bones, and short dark hair. He was wearing a blue Ralph Lauren polo shirt with a burgundy horse on the front, and burgundy trousers.
