Members of the Beaufort Hunt have presented two cheques to local charities.

The presentations were made on Saturday, November 20, when the hunt met at Pyke Boarding Kennels, Sherston, where a large crowd also enjoyed the generous hospitality of Kitty Goddard and Angela Stanley.

Two cheques of £750 each were presented to Athelstan House in Malmesbury, which cares for the elderly and those suffering from dementia, and to the Watershed Riding for the Disabled group based at Coates.

The donations came from the proceeds of the popular Beaufort Hunt Supporters Club horse show held each year at Badminton Park.
