Hull hails Bristol Rugby's 'feel-good factor' as Grieve and Jarvis sign new deals
Paul Hull has hailed the "feel-good factor" at Bristol Rugby after Iain Grieve and Adrian Jarvis became the latest front-line players to sign contract extensions.
Versatile back-row man Grieve, 22, and fly-half Jarvis, 26, are both understood to have penned one-year deals, which will cover the 2010-11 season.

New deal: For Bristol Rugby's Iain Grieve
They follow prop Wayne Thompson, back-rower James Phillips and centre Junior Fatialofa in re-signing for next season – while a host of other players agreed fresh multiple-year terms at the end of last season.
The Championship leaders are on course for a return to the Guinness Premiership – but will not know for certain which division they will be playing in next term until the conclusion of the play-offs in May.
Head coach Hull and chief executive Steve Gorvett, however, have made encouraging progress in tying down the out-of-contract members of the existing squad.
Bristol Academy product Grieve, in particular, had been attracting interest from established Premiership clubs – yet has chosen to remain with the Memorial Stadium side.
And head coach Hull said: "Iain has outstanding work ethic and has bought into the Bristol culture, bringing a high level of professionalism in everything he does.
"He is extremely quick, with an aggressive, defensive streak and we as a coaching team are pleased he has committed to Bristol."
Grieve grew up in Africa – first in Botswana and then South Africa – before moving to Bristol. He revealed in the Bristol Evening Post last week how he was desperate to play for Bristol in the Premiership next season.
"I'd love to play in the Premiership with Bristol again," said Grieve shortly before signing his new deal. "I've come through the Academy here and Bristol is the place that I love to be at.
"We moved to Bristol when I was turning 15, so I've pretty much been with the club since then and I've loved just about every minute of it."
Jarvis, meanwhile, has started every one of Bristol's 18 Championship matches so far this season, scoring 147 points with the boot. He has been criticised in some quarters for missing kicks this season – but Hull last week defended the former Harlequins man and chose to focus instead on his impressive touch-kicking. Hull said: "As we have grown as a team this season, Adrian has grown with us, leading our attack with confidence and good leadership.
"We are all happy that he has extended his contract with us, and it just further adds to the feel-good factor that is present at the club."

“Although not playing well consistently Bristol are probably the strongest side in the Championship.
It's just a pity we've got this ridiculous play-off system where one bad performace could undermine a season's good work and, because the play-offs are so late, strengthening the winning club's squad for next season's Prem will be very difficult.
Bristol clearly need strengthening significantly if promotion is to lead to remaining in the Premiership.
It's not going to be easy even if cash was available in the right proportions, which it may not be.”
