Hulbert inspires Frome
Frome Town came away from Abingdon with a 5-0 win thanks to four-goal striker Ricky Hulbert.
Manager Darren Perrin included new signing Jack Winter at left-back and his side took the lead after eight minutes, as Mark Salter broke and let loose a shot that Beames was only able to parry, and Hulbert scored from six yards.
Hulbert was unlucky in the 44th minute, as Matt Peters won the ball brilliantly in midfield and produced the perfect through-ball but he saw his shot hit the far post. The pair repeated the move one minute later, but this time Hulbert slotted the ball into the net from 12 yards. The third goal came in the first minute of the second half, when Hulbert headed home from close range.
Frome made it 4-0 in the 60th minute through substitute Dave Thompson, and Hulbert scored his fourth goal in the 63rd minute.
