Hughes is back with old club Cirencester Town
CIRENCESTER TOWN have appointed former boss Brian Hughes as their manager following the departure of Adie Viveash.
Viveash has joined the coaching staff at the Chelsea Academy. Hughes returns to take charge two years after deciding to stand down as the Cirencester boss.
"I have thoroughly enjoyed the break away from football and Cirencester is the only club that would have tempted me back into the game," said Hughes.
Paul Hunt, who was assistant to Viveash, will continue and has picked the side for today's game at Slough Town.
They are without first-choice goalkeeper Tom King. Left-sided midfielder Adam Mahdi, who was on loan to Cirencester from Bristol Rovers, was recalled to the Memorial Stadium but has since joined Clevedon Town on loan.
