BRISTOL & SUBURBAN LEAGUE: Danny Hamilton, Joe Mitchell and defender Adam Lane were on target for Winford PH, who recorded their first Premier I home win of the season, and the double, over bottom-of-the-table Glenside Five OB, winning 3-2 at Fry's.

Injury-hit Glenside, who lost their goalkeeper at half-time with the score at 1-1, replied with goals from Everton Murray and James Parker.

Steve Tarrant bagged a brace for Ashton United, who took their unbeaten run to six games with a 3-1 home win over Almondsbury Town Reserves at Dundry. Scott Pearce scored the first United goal, with Ryan Warren netting a late consolation for Town.

Only two points separate the top six in Premier II and, with three of those teams involved in the GFA Senior Amateur Cup, St Aldhelms Reserves missed a great chance to go top after being held 3-3 at Brislington A. Sean White scored twice for Brislington, who grabbed a last-minute equaliser through Josh Charles.

Bristol Telephones bounced back from the previous week's first defeat of the season by beating Almondsbury UWE Reserves 2-1 to move into third place. Ricky Anstey and a 30-yard goal from Sam Smith sealed the points.

Dean Morgan (2), Pete Newton-Smith and James Wilmott were on target for Tytherington Rocks Reserves, who beat Whitchurch 4-2, their first win of the season. Ryan Turner scored both Whitchurch goals.

Adam Wyper marked his return to the Little Stoke team after a long absence by scoring in their 3-1 home win over Wessex Wanderers. Adam Brunt and Stephen Hirst scored the other Little Stoke goals.

Division I leaders Imperial Saints maintained their 100 per cent record and opened a seven-point lead after winning 5-1 at Hengrove Athletic. Lew Jones, Ben Griffiths, Danny Rowlands and twin brothers, Billy and Sam Downs, were the Saints marksmen.

Easton Cowboys Suburbia are still unbeaten and in second place but they dropped two points after being held to their fifth draw of the season – 2-2 – by Fishponds OB Reserves. Mike Frew netted both goals for Cowboys, but Georgi Osmond and Mark Slateford struck to earn Fishponds a point.

Three successive victories and an unbeaten October has pushed Ashton Seniors into third place. Sam Box scored twice in their latest win – 5-1 against previously unbeaten Avonmouth Reserves.

Aidie Cogshill was on target for Ashton Rangers, who drew 1-1 with unbeaten Ridings High Reserves, while Simon Hancock and Paul Hayes scored consolation goals in Old Cothamians' 4-2 home defeat by Filton Athletic.

Stuart Rogers, with a 35-yard shot, and an equaliser from Matt Hearn earned Bristol Telephones Reserves their first point of the season in the local derby at Broad Plain House Reserves and moved them out of the relegation positions.

Southmead CS Athletic Reserves are in pole position in Division II after stretching their unbeaten run to eight games with a convincing 6-0 home win over St Aldhelms A.

Ben Fry continued his prolific goalscoring run by helping himself to a hat-trick and he was joined on the scoresheet by Danny Glancy (2) and Michael Pepper.

Danny Moore was another hat-trick man as he helped second-placed Thrissell Nomads inflict the first defeat of the season on previous leaders Ingleside. The Nomads came back from a goal down to win 3-2 and they are a point behind the leaders with a game in hand.

Jack Fillingham scored five times as fourth-placed Cartwheel Sports crushed Little Stoke Reserves 9-1. Lee and Jay Pitman completed the tally with two goals apiece.

Mike James scored a 75th-minute winner for Stoke Gifford United Reserves at home to Cadbury Heath A.

Mike Holloway was on target for Corinthians Sports, who lost 3-1 at home to Mangotsfield United A. Russ Milkins converted a penalty for Mangotsfield's first goal before Kyle Durston and Mo Carraway struck in the last five minutes to clinch all three points.

Ash Parkhouse scored both goals for Almondsbury UWE A, who shared four goals with Tyndalls Park Rangers.

Bristol County lead Division III by four points after beating promotion rivals Ashton United Reserves 5-2. Matt Steele led the scoring with a hat- trick, while Scott Bowler and Shane Budding were also on target.

Golden Hill Sports made it seven victories from their last eight games by winning 2-1 at Lebeq United to move into second-place.

Newcomers BW Athletic are finding their feet, having won their last three games scoring 19 goals. Lee Mougham (4) and Dave Brain (2) fired them to their latest success – a 6-0 victory over bottom club Sefton Park.

Lee Clark scored his first goal for Severn Beach Reserves five minutes from the end to earn all three points against Old Cothamians Reserves.

Fishponds OB A leapfrogged Parson Street OB in the table after beating them 3-2 thanks to goals from Ricky Wilkes, Ali Pleasant and Josh Smith.

Fourth-placed Broad Plain House A beat Glenside Five OB Reserves 4-2, while Shaun Coles scored a consolation goal for Hanham Athletic Colts, who lost 3-1 at home to Old Georgian Reserves.

Goals from Dave Jenkin and Jeff Kite helped Brandon TT Sports beat AFC Spartans 2-1. It was their third successive victory and put them top of Division IV.

Previous leaders Oldbury Crusaders Reserves went down to a 2-1 defeat at Avonmouth A, whose scorers were Jack Williams and Tom Povey.
