Hollywood actor Nicholas Cage values discount in Glastonbury
Even multi-millionaire Hollywood stars value a discount, as this picture of superstar actor Nicholas Cage proves.
The Oscar-winning star of Captain Corelli's Mandolin, Gone in 60 Seconds, The Rock and Face Off, popped into Glastonbury Discount Centre to buy some £3.99 water pistols during a visit to the town with his wife, Alice.
He is understood to have bought a house in the area, after being spotted in the town two years ago picking up details of houses for sale.
A large detached house in Baltonsborough, near Glastonbury, was among the homes he was said to have been interested in.
Mr Cage and his wife were spotted shopping in Glastonbury last Saturday and Monday, and they took time to visit the town's Tribunal museum, where artifacts from the Iron Age history of the area, including a log boat, are on show, and to enjoy local food.
Shop staff and locals found him polite and friendly, and said he was concerned for people facing Hurricane Gustav in New Orleans, where he has friends.
