Henbury blew away the memories of their previous defeat at Tuffley Rovers with a 3-0 victory against Yate Town Reserves.

Leading goalscorer Shane Hobbs twice for the home side.

His first came on 20 minutes with a shot from the edge of the box and the second arrived on 70 minutes when he chipped the goalkeeper.

Aaron Wilson drove the ball home to make it 3-0 late on.

There were no fewer than eight goals at Tuffley Rovers as the home side ran out 5-3 winners over B & W Avonside.

A Rob Cook hat-trick was the highlight for the hosts.

He opened his account after 18 minutes before Lee Wallington made it 2-0 on 31 minutes.

Rodney Coke pulled one back for the visitors early in the second half before Cook netted his second to make it 3-1.

Coke pulled it back to 3-2, but Cook completed his hat-trick on 64 minutes to restore the two-goal lead.

Avonside's Kyle Simpson made 4-3 but Tuffley's Chris Lee netted the final goal in the 78th minute to seal the Gloucester side's victory.

Patchway Town pulled off a good 2-0 win over Highridge United with a double strike from John Adams.

He opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a lucky goal that rebounded off of him as a Highridge defender tried to clear and then netted a second on the hour mark with a 30-yard drive.

Axa were 2-0 winners over DRG Stapleton.

Neil Turner netted the first after 30 minutes with Andy Watts' goal sealing the points.

Ellwood keep up their challenge for the title with a slender 1-0 win at Hanham Athletic.

The only goal came from a Daryl Addis penalty.

Berkeley Town, who had lost their previous three games, bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Bishops Cleeve Reserves.

Berkeley took the lead in the 38th minute with a superb strike from Pete Holder.

Three minutes into the second half the home side were 2-0 up as Holder hammered the ball into the bottom corner from 14 yards.

Jamie Hammond pulled a goal back for Cleeve but the Hunters held on.

Leaders Slimbridge scraped home with a 2-0 defeat over bottom club Chipping Sodbury Town.

The home side took the lead in the 21st minute when player-manager James Cole's free-kick eluded everyone to nestle in the back of the net.

Slimbridge did not secure the win until injury-time, whenCraig Cole tapped home.

King's Stanley beat Taverners 1-0 thanks to a goal from Martin McDermott.
