Heroic fancy dress effort by store staff in aid of cancer research
STORE staff at Tesco Express in Bristol city centre dressed up as their favourite super heroes to raise money for charity.
Batman and Superman both made an appearance – and helped shake buckets to persuade customers to hand over their spare change.

These have included a Cycle for Lapland event, where staff used an exercise bike to cycle the distance from Bristol to Lapland.
They have also held in-store raffles and cake bake competitions.
Store Manager Nigel Smith said: "We have had fun holding many different events throughout the year for Cancer Research UK.
"This was our last event before Tesco changes the charity to a different one.
"We wanted to make the day special and thought dressing up as super heroes was a good idea because we wanted to show the idea of bravery – as cancer sufferers are brave.
"Everyone has got involved and we're hoping it will add to more funds going into the pot for a very worthwhile charity."
