Hero plumber chased and arrested suspected burglar
A man wearing no shoes chased a suspected burglar for half a mile before catching him and making a citizen's arrest.
Plumber Daniel Tripp made a similar citizen's arrest last March.

The 20-year-old won a Post Gold Star award last year for running after a burglar when a woman shouted that he had broken into her Redfield home.
His latest heroic chase happened in Hanham.
Having just been made redundant, Mr Tripp was at his girlfriend's house fixing some shelves in her spare bedroom when he noticed a man in the lane behind the house.
The suspicious-looking man was wheeling a bike and balancing two electric drill boxes on the handle bars.
Mr Tripp immediately dropped his tools, grabbed his mobile phone and ran out the house without having time to put on any shoes.
Once in a lane behind Lower Hanham Road, he noticed a garage had been broken into and he started running after the burglar.
At the end of the lane he asked a passing woman if she had seen the man and was pointed in the direction of Tabernacle Road.
He next caught sight of the man in Maypole Square as he disappeared down Memorial Road, going away from Hanham High Street.
Mr Tripp continued running and saw the man disappear into a nearby industrial estate.
Once there, he lost sight of the man for more than 10 minutes and almost gave up the chase, before he spotted him again slightly further down the street, chatting to another man .
"He looked like he was trying to sell the drills to this guy.
"I ran over and immediately told him I was performing a citizen's arrest.
"As I was doing that, I rang the police on my mobile. They turned up within five minutes and took him away in handcuffs."
Mr Tripp, who refused to accept he was a hero, added: "I just thought he looked suspicious so gave chase, that's all."
Police confirmed that a 38-year-old man had been arrested and bailed to return to Staple Hill police station next month.
Almost a year ago to the day, Mr Tripp, who lives in Speedwell, chased a man after he saw him struggling with a woman in Morse Street, Redfield.
Mr Tripp, who keeps fit by playing football at the weekend, dialled 999 as he ran and police swooped on the suspect after he jumped over a garden wall in Easton Road, Easton.
Our Gold Star awards recognise and celebrate the actions of local heroes.
Steve Game, an Avon and Somerset police spokesman, said: "It's great that members of the public are prepared to help the police in this way. While we are always grateful for any assistance, we would urge people to be aware of their own safety before they give chase."

“Well done for his actions. He looks quite a big lad though. Its only brave taking on potential criminals if they are the same size or bigger- otherwise its just throwing your weight around!”

“Well done Daniel, you are right lets stick together as a community care for each other and work together. Do not worry about spelling and grammer it is irrelevant in this situation.
Just be careful and look after your self as now certain people may want to take a 'pop' keep your eyes open!
I wish everyone was as caring as you it appears most prefer to be sarcastic name calling commentators basing their opinions on thin air!”
