Hereford United will be without wingback Kris Taylor for today's League One match against Stockport County at Edgeley Park.

Taylor will be serving out a one match suspension having accumulated five yellow cards and is expected to be replaced by Richard Jackson in their back four.

Also waiting in the wings for a recall is central defender Dean Beckwith, who has been on the bench for the Bull's last four outings.

But Manchester United midfielder Sam Hewson, who has missed the last two matches against Walsall and Millwall, may miss out again due to a groin strain.

Strikers Steve Guinan and Andy Williams will continue to lead the attack with Matt Done and Jennison Myrie-Williams on the wings.

Guinan, who has scored 10 goals so far this season, still requires eight more to complete a hundred in Hereford colours.

"We have beaten Stockport twice at Edgeley Park in the past two seasons so I don't see any reason why we cannot win there again." said Guinan.

"What we have got to do is try and match them and hope we can come out on top."

Stockport, however, beat Hereford 1-0 at Edgar Street earlier in the campaign with a goal from Tommy Rowe four minutes into injury time.

The Bulls will also have to deal with long throw-ins from James Tunnicliffe if they are going to contain the home attack.

Stockport, who won promotion by winning the League Two play-off last season, are in ninth place having won 11 and drawn eight of their matches.

Robbie Threlfall, the Liverpool defender, who was with Hereford at the start of the season, could be in the Hatters squad to face some of his former team mates today.

Last night, the Edgeley Park stadium was being used for the England Saxon's rugby international against Portugal, which could damage the playing surface ahead of this afternoon's encounter.
