Hereford United captain Broadhurst to make first appearance
HEREFORD UNITED skipper Karl Broadhurst stands by for a recall for today's League One match against Scunthorpe United at Edgar Street.
Broadhurst dislocated his shoulder in a pre-season game against Wolves and has missed Hereford's first seven games.

Karl Broadhurst
The 28-year-old central defender played in a practice match against Cardiff City on Wednesday and is anxious to make the squad.
If Broadhurst gets a recall, it will end a frustrating time for the former Bournemouth captain.
"I missed a fair number of games last season through injury, so it was really frustrating to pick up another in the pre-season," said Broadhurst.
"Now I am hoping for an injury-free run."
Striker Nick Craddock also played at Ninian Park and is waiting in the wings to make his debut.
Craddock joined Hereford a fortnight ago, having been released by Plymouth Argyle.
Hereford need a win to move off the bottom of the division but will have to keep a close check on Scunthorpe striker Gary Hooper.
Hooper, who played an influential part in Hereford's promotion, scored 12 goals in 19 appearances for the Bulls while on loan from Southend United.
United chief Graham Turner made a bid to secure the services of Hooper but Scunthorpe stepped in with a £175,000 offer.
"Gary did ever so well for us and I would like to have brought him to Edgar Street," said Turner.
"We agreed a fee with Southend but, unfortunately, in between the time we could get in touch with Gary, who was on holiday, other clubs came in and trebled the offer.
"So, naturally enough, Southend took up the offers and it was left to Gary to decide."
Hooper has so far scored six goals, including a hat-trick against Brighton.
"I don't see why we can't get another win. We are scoring a good number of goals and all the lads are buzzing," said Hooper.
"There are only five or six players that I know are still at Hereford, and it would be nice to score on my return."
But Scunthorpe chief Nigel Atkins has warned his players not to underestimate Turner's men.
"Hereford may be at the bottom of the table, but I never underestimate the opposition," said Atkins.
"Lessons over the years prove that, if you do, then games like this can come back and bite you on."
Today's opponents have won four of their six league games and are in third place, behind leaders Oldham and second-placed Carlisle United, who they beat 2-1 last week.
Substitutes Matthew Sparrow and James Woolford turned the game against Carlisle after Scunthorpe had gone a goal down.
Sparrow scored their first, while Woolford had a hand in both goals.
