Children at Henbury Court Primary School rose to the challenge when asked to make maths hats.

They paraded their headwear at the start of a week of number-based activities at the school in Trevelyan Walk.

Pupils from early years through to Year 6 have been involved with maths work using Smarties.

The maths week ends today with a maths roadshow for Years 2 to 6.

Maths leader Judith Evans said: "The children have thoroughly enjoyed the week."
