Sara Payne to visit North Somerset
National Victims' Champion Sara Payne is visiting North Somerset this week to hold a series of workshops with victims and witnesses.
The visit, which is the South West leg of her Victim's Journey around the country, aims to bring together the views of witnesses and victims, as well as people working within the Criminal Justice System in Avon and Somerset.

Feedback from the tour will be used to provide recommendations to the Government on where reform is required.
Ms Payne, mother of murdered schoolgirl Sarah Payne, has first-hand experience of the Criminal Justice System and was appointed the Government's first Victim's Champion in January.
From today until Thursday she will be in Worle holding a series of focus groups with witnesses, victims and staff from the criminal justice agencies across the region, including police officers, probation workers, youth offending teams and witness care unit officers.
Avon and Somerset, one of nine areas visited by Ms Payne over the summer months, is seen as a leader when it comes to support for victims and witnesses and looks to build on this service.
