The Bristol Post

I AM writing to try to find our camera which I believe to have been stolen on Saturday night at a wedding where I was a bridesmaid and my two-year-old daughter was a flower girl..

It was the wedding of my best friend of 22 years and her family are like my own.

The photographs we took were lovely and really important to us as contained group shots of the brides family that are irreplaceable. We are so sad that this has happened.

The wedding function took place at the Riverstation restaurant in Bristol waterfront and we know we still had it at 22.55 as it is pictured in the background of another photo.

I cannot recall putting it into the taxi that picked us up with all our belongings and just assumed it was in one of the other bags, until I got home and then found it missing. I contacted my friend who was still at the venue and she couldn't find it and also rang the taxi company to check if I had dropped it/left it in the car. The venue have told us they looked for it and it has not been found so we have reported it as stolen to the police.

We would really love to have the memory card back with the pictures on from a day that was so special to us. We realise that by now the card has probably been wiped but on the off chance that somebody has found it and not known where to return it we are appealing to have it sent to the evening post or to us anonymously if you prefer.

We obviously would love the camera back too but it is the photos we are most concerned about. Our number is 0777 930 2915.
