They also facilitate information sessions which cover the different types of childcare settings, qualifications, details of relevant training providers and courses and possible sources of funding.

Kwads/Southmead Project offer themed carers groups, open access, acupuncture and one-to-one support.

Bristol: Free information and support is available to people with Parkinson's disease, their families and carers.
Informal visits and telephone support are offered along with links to other services and the opportunity to meet others affected by Parkinson's.

SOUTH GLOUCESTERSHIRE: The PCT NHS Stop Smoking Service is a free service for smokers who want to quit. Help available throughout the district at various times and locations.

Free tuition offer
Weston: Free and subsidised courses are available at Weston-super-Mare library to help improve maths and English skills, leading to a recognised qualification.
Computers tuition for adults is also available with courses for complete beginners through to those who want to achieve a qualification.

BRISTOL: Improve your riding skills and become a safer biker by taking an advanced motorcycling course with the Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists, a registered road safety charity.

Hard of hearing club
BRISTOL: The city's hard of hearing club meets most Tuesdays from 6.30pm to 9.30pm at the centre for the deaf in Kings Square in the city centre.

Free courses on offer
Bristol: A4e can arrange free courses for people who are currently working who are over 20 and have fewer than three GCSEs.
Courses in computing, English, and maths are available.

Drugs abuse help
bristol: If someone you care about is using drugs , Families Anonymous can help.
Meetings are on Mondays at 7.30pm and Wednesdays at 8pm at Redland Park United Reformed Church, on the corner of Whiteladies Road and Redland Park .

BRISTOL: Bristol Gamblers Anonymous meets every Tuesday night from 7.15-9.15pm at Broadmead Baptist Church, Whippington Court, Bristol.
There is also a Bristol group run for families and friends of compulsive gamblers called GamAnon, which meets at the same place and same time.
