Helen Holland delighted at role as head of Labour group
BRISTOL'S Labour group has chosen Helen Holland to be its new leader.
A private party meeting was held at City Hall last night, where members voted between former council leader Ms Holland, and Derek Pickup.

Ms Holland, who represents Whitchurch Park ward, said: "I am delighted by tonight's result, and relish the challenges ahead."
Former leader Peter Hammond resigned after a row over whether Labour should join mayor George Ferguson's cabinet.
