Hedger continues to lead championship race
YATE teenager Luke Hedger continues to lead the way in the 125cc British Championships ahead of the final three rounds of the 12-race campaign.
Hedger, 16, right, overcame a number of technical problems that bedeviled his Honda to claim a fourth-placed finish at Donnington last weekend.

That left Hedger and the FirePlace Warehouse team with a 34-point advantage over second-placed Bradley Ray in the overall standings ahead of the next round at TT Circuit Assen in Holland over the weekend beginning September 21.
FPW racing manager Adrian Mason said: "We struggled to get the bike to punch out of the corners all weekend. That meant we had to make sure that Luke was fast in the flowing part of the circuit. We managed to achieve that and we're confident that will help us when we go to Assen due to the flowing nature of that circuit.

"It was a difficult weekend for Luke, but he rode well considering the circumstances. It is hard for him because he has to deal with the pressure of leading the championship.
"We're getting closer with every race that goes by, but we're trying to put that out of our minds. What we have to do is focus on each event as they come and to try and do our best to get the maximum out of Luke and the bike in each of the final few races."
