How on earth can such a tragic and shocking death NOT be treated by the police and other investigating authorities as suspicious? If there was a simple (non suspicious) explanation for the unfortunate and untimely death (e.g an accident) of this poor man, then it should surely have been reported as such. My issue here is with the reporting of the story, and the apparent lack of an adequate explanation by the police. I certainly did not intend to cause any offence, but if any offence has been inferred by friends or relatives of Mr Eyres then I sincerely apologise.”
