A driver has been cleared of careless driving after an accident near Iron Acton.

Liam Emery, aged 19, of Harescombe, was found not guilty after a trial at North Avon Magistrates' Court. He had denied the offence after the accident in October 2007, when his car crashed into a on the B4058.

Emery suffered minor injuries and two teenage girls in the car were badly hurt.
