Hannah Saaf: Carefree girl who grew into a killer
Here is teenage Hannah Saaf in happier, care-free times as a boarder at Millfield School.
She smiles at the camera as she flicks through a photo album with her friends.
-

A former fellow pupil at the £26,000-a-year school in Somerset, who did not wish to be named, said: "Hannah went to Edgarley Hall, which is the junior school, as a boarder and was then in Warner house for five years when she was at the senior school.
"She was very intelligent. She was in the top set for maths and took her GCSE in maths a year early.
"Hannah played hockey for the school and was quite popular. She seemed to go slightly off the rails in her final year, but still got good A-level results."

“Hannah was and I'm sure still is a lovely girl. I knew her fairly well at school from the 4 years I was also a border at millfield school and always thought she was intelligent, and very kind hearted. As a delivery driver in bristol as a student in the early 2000's I know how manic some of the driving is around the city and there are many accidents. Hannah was just very unfortunate to have this tragic accident, she will be devastated to have caused this, and when she is finally free she will have suffered enough. Be strong Hannah, love macca.x”

“I knew hannah from uni and she did not have a bad bone in her body. She unfortunately went away one summer break inthe second year and spent much of her time taking drugs. The effects caught up with her and turned her into a different person. She must accept responsibility but I just wonder how long it will be before all the other people I went to uni with who took drugs will have the same effects catching up with them.”

“The more I read about this lady the less I believe she is a murderer.
All I see is a lady who drove far too fast, accidently lost control of her car and killed a young lad.
She was then clearly in a state of shock and couldn't handle what she'd done.
Very sad story and just remember to drive slower.
very sad indeed.”

“Yet again, BEP giving a biased sensationalist spin on a tragic event. How about a new years resoloution for some proper journalism please. I saw a report on the TV the other week about how circulation for the BEP is dropping through the floor. Hardly surprising given the appauling standard of one sided writing it continually publishes. I only read the website for a bit of a laugh and a chance to have a pop at it! :) Cheeers!”

“Why not show compassion, rather than contempt?
BEP: Careless local paper which grew into a gutter rag.”

“BEP, you should ashamed of yourselves for this cruel, over-the-top, sensationalist news item.
Still, if it increases the sales of your rag...”

“She had no intent to kill anyone but her actions led to this terrible incident.
To label her a killer is unfair as it implies that she has evil or murderous intentions towards others, which is not the case.
She has issues and should not have been on the road. She also totally mis-handled the situation.
If you choose to take drugs this could happen to you.
JUST SAY NO TO DRUGS”

“Yeah she didn't "grow into a killer"
She was involved in a tragic accident.
Show some respect at least BEP”

“The headline here is a bit harsh is it not?
It makes her out to be some sort of axe maniac.”
