Hanham and Beaufort hot-shots hit the goal standard
Bristol and District Sunday League Premier Division sides Hanham Sunday and Beaufort both cruised into the final four of the GFA Premier Cup.
Tom Hamilton (2), Ben Newbury (2), Twaine Plummer and Leroy Swayby were all on target for Hanham as they thrashed Bristol Regional League side Stapleton Sunday 6-1.
Beaufort, meanwhile, won by the same scoreline against Easton Cowboys courtesy of goals from Jack Smyth (2), Ryan Bass (2), Carl Reese and Lorenzo Gaetani.
Goals from Craig Hill and Craig Brown were not enough to prevent Regional League Divison II side Old Plough crashing out of the GFA Intermediate Cup following a 3-2 defeat against Bristol and District Division I outfit Salmon Solutions.
Michael Kelly, Thomas Kelly and Jason Vesdekis fired Golden Lion Fisphonds to a 3-1 victory over Regional League Division II side Downend Reserves, who replied through Alex Parsons.
Lazz FC and Wessex League side The Robins will have to try again this Sunday after their match was abandoned in the 72nd minute. Lee Fudge (2), Giorgio Mancini and Nathan Rendell had scored the goals to give The Robins a 4-3 lead before the referee halted proceedings.
Ryan Withey scored four times for Regional League Division III side Bristol Athletic Social as they trounced BAWA Athletico Reserves 8-0. Steve Harding, Ricky Cox, Dan Norman and Danny Sanderson completed the rout.
Athletic will be joined in the hat for round four by Regional League Divison IV side Sartan FC, who sprang a surprise by overcoming Bristol Jaguars from the league above. Dan Smith, Jake Highnam and Jamie Vile scored the goals in a 3-1 win, with Paul White on target for Jaguars.
Almondsbury Athletic lost 3-2 against Three Lions Vets.
