Hallen out to move on up
TOOLSTATION PREMIER DIVISION: Andy Hicks has challenged Hallen's players to demonstrate they can be a leading light in the top-flight again.
With only five league games behind them, due to a congested cup schedule, Hallen are eager to make up lost ground, starting with tomorrow's battle against fifth-placed visitors Bideford.
A solitary win and draw thus far has left Gary Domone's team stranded in a second-from-bottom berth and assistant manager Hicks stressed: "While we have a good squad, we're yet to get going at all in the league. Hopefully we can settle into some sort of rhythm and a win tomorrow could set us on the right road again."
Revitalised champions Bitton entertain Larkhall Athletic, looking like title contenders again following a run of four wins and a draw in their last five games. Wednesday's 4-1 thrashing of Sherborne at the Rec hoisted them into fifth place and boss Andy Black claimed: "The lads are looking fitter and more competitive and we're right back in the mix."
Bitton hope to have striker Michael Meaker available after injury.
