Half-time: Bristol Rovers 0 Oldham Athletic 0
Bristol Rovers 0 Oldham Athletic 0: Bristol Rovers remain goalless at the break in their clash with Oldham Athletic at the Memorial Stadium this afternoon.
Paul Trollope's men have enjoyed more of the ball in an entertaining opening period, which has only lacked attempts at goal as both sides slugged it out in the midfield third.

Half-time report from Bristol Rovers[1]
Recent signing Mark Bright squandered Rovers best chance of the first 45 minutes when blazing a good opportunity high and wide from close-range. Oldham almost surprised their hosts with a goal of their own as Pawel Abbott's attempted poke past Rovers goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen was cleared off the line by defender Carl Regan.
Rovers had nearly celebrated an early breakthrough on eight minutes when a Stuart Campbell corner was almost diverted into the Oldham net by Latics defender Alan Sheehan. Wright then missed Rovers’ best opportunity with a sliced shot from close-range sailed high and wide of the upright after Chris Lines had teed the chance up with a nice pass.
Oldham almost scored from their first meaningful sight at goal following a lightning-quick counter-attack in the 24th minute. Abbott latched on to a through ball with the Rovers backline chasing back.
The Oldham man managed to poke the ball underneath the advancing Andersen but Regan came to the rescue by hacking the goalward bound attempt off the line and away to safety.
Trollope had named an unchanged side from the one that secured a victory over Millwall at the Memorial Stadium last weekend.
